For many, its a small thing to just fly somewhere. My problem is the medical care that I need every step of the way. What I’m asking for may sound like a lot of money, but money is just numbers and it comes and goes they say. Some people have a lot and others don’t have so much of it, but some people have goodness in their hearts and I know it, and maybe a few extra dollars to share for good causes, and this is a good cause. I can’t earn money or get a job because I’m not well or long for this world and I can’t work later than 10:00pm at night since I’m a minor, and almost any job would be bad for my health.
Even unemployed people get to live full lives, but I can’t and I accept it because it’s His will for me. That’s not why I’m sad, I just want more before I go, so won’t you help me?
The costs I need covered are kind of a lot, and that’s why I need your help. All donations are fully tax deductible (ask your accountant for better details, but it’s to non-profit.) Flying down there isn’t as bad, but the medical attention costs a lot. Here’s my costs I’m probably going to face before I can become a fulfilled person.
Expected Costs:
* $98,538 for the Medivac air ambulance from Boston to Jamaica. It is for a round trip, to airlift me there with needed medical attention and the return home.
* $11,235 for three full-time nurses. Not all at once, but round-the-clock to protect my health.
* $8,199 for 7-days and 6-nights at the specialty resort, which includes all of the things I want specially at this resort. This includes a 10% student discount, even though I’m not in school. I’m home schooled so it still counts.
* $8,000 absolution registration fee. My priest has been very kind throughout this process and even given me a letter swearing I can’t go to hell for it. You know he backs us because it’s the church that is accepting the payments for me. I can ask for forgiveness once it’s done, but even if not I will be okay because I’m a minor and God doesn’t punish children. The fee isn’t for absolution, it’s just a registration thing for all the paperwork.
* $300 for my luggage. I don’t have any now, but I know I should get some and it’s expensive.
* $586 for room service meals and miscellaneous room charges, like phone calls back to my parents to tell them I’m okay and having a good time.
* $100 for T-shirts. When I come back I want something nice to remember my trip and I want to get some for my nurses too.
* $399 for swimming with dolphins (optional). I want to swim with dolphins, if I can, but I don’t have to, I’ll already be okay without it.
$127,537.00 is the total goal.
If you can offer even a small amount of money to offset these costs and help me live out a full life as quickly as possible, it would mean the world to me and I would pray the lord bless you every day while I’m waiting and every day while I’m there.
If you can’t send me money, I understand. Even though $20.00 isn’t a lot for most of you it might be weird. There are many ways you can help that won’t cost anything for you.
